New Division Music Video

Just spent the last 2 days shooting a music video in Mammoth,CA in the snow for the band "New Division". Here are a few screen grabs. I'm pretty excited about this project.  Zoey Deutch played the girl in this video. She is one of the main roles in the new film "Beautiful Creatures" and we had Avan Jogia star of "Victorious". It was a great cast, great crew, and a great time!!!

Dior spot

Homemade Irish Pub Shoot

Just shot a mini documentary & commercial at an authentic Irish pub that was built under a house of an Irish culture enthusiast in Los Angeles. This was shot on two Epics and directed by Ryan R. Browne. I'm pretty excited about this project!!! Here are some screen grabs.

VA COMMERCIAL

I just shot a Veteran's Affairs commercial with director Noah Mucci. It was a really great experience. We shot on my Red Epic with some of my old vintage lenses mixed with some of my newer zeiss lenses. We shot on the Mole Richardson sound stage in Hollywood. I had access all the lights that Mole Richardson make. My new love are the Mole beam projector lights and also their new LED softlight tungsten and daylight models. They are my new go to for creating sunlight on a sound stage. We projected war footage on the walls of a bedroom set and rigged projectors to fluid heads on sliders in scissor lifts. It's going to be amazing!!!

Here is an updated shot of all the vintage and modern lenses I've collected, mostly vintage! They all have very unique characteristics. Some flare incredible, others have crazy bokeh, and some are low contrast magical portrait lenses.

Angenieux 90mm f/1.8 in Action!

Just shot a commercial the past week with John Carey in Louisville,KY. Here are some screen grabs (uncolor corrected) using my vintage Angenieux 90mm f.1.8. Its my most expensive lens but It was worth it!!!

This was one of the first shots I did with my Red. I didn't realize the sparks would travel so far. Don't worry the camera and lens survived.

Shooting Lava!

Just shot a beautiful miniature of Lava made by director Stephen Reedy. It's the last pick up shot for the film "The Forge", due to come out in a few weeks. I'm really excited about this film!!!

Just shot a monologue with actor Chadwick Boseman, star of upcoming film, "42". This monologue was Directed by Scott Schultz from Yo Gabba Gabba and produced by Hello!.  This is part of a series of monologues for a digital text book for Junior High students. Here is a screen grab.

Commercial for Chrysler.

A few weeks ago I shot a commercial for Chrysler in Washington DC. Directed by Noah Mucci. Produced by Creable films.  Here are some screen grabs. We shot 6 brand new jeeps driving all around town and we set up some scenes of people watching them drive by. The shoot went really well!!!
