Shot a quick commercial yesterday in LA with director Armen Perian all on greenscreen for Esquire! Here's what happened after the shoot!

Car commercial Detroit

Just wrapped a car commercial shoot in Detroit in an amazing location. It was a blast. It involved a lot of precision driving and tires burning out!  You might recognize this location from Transformers. This is a shot of the product. I had a 30x20' overhead muz, 10x20' muz side strip, a wet down, a bunch of smoke, and a 30' techno crane.

Commercial in Big Sur

Just spent the last 3 days shooting a commercial in Big Sur. We shot all day under a Redwood forest using Steadicam and an outdoor gas powered fogger called an Igeba. Here are some photos!

Cup of Noodles Commercial

I'm Shooting a cup of noodles commercial in Brooklyn this week. I'm really excited about the creative on this one! We are shooting on Epic Dragon with Zeiss Masterprime anamorphics!

Commercial in downtown LA

Last week had a 2 day shoot with  this awesome hip hop dancer for a Japanese product. Threw up a 20x20 half soft and got this nice subtle diffusion.

Medium format shots from New Mexico

New Mexico

Finishing up the last 2 weeks of the feature in New Mexico shooting on a few Native American reservations. It's been a great experience and I can't wait to see this movie finished. Here's one of our locations.

Peter Stormare on set!

Got to shoot Peter Stormare for the FMS feature last week.  It was such a blast working with him. He's such great guy. During one of the scenes he picked up a flag before the take and started wafting the smoke on the set. Such a down to earth funny guy!

Day 10 of 21 for FMS feature

Here's a small setup in the feature I'm shooting. This week we had Dee Wallace do a cameo for a small scene and next week we have a really big actor making an appearance! Hopefully I can mention soon who it is. This was a fun lighting scene. We had a 4K book light with a double break of more diffusion and a grip jungle. The actor swings a light bulb that hangs on the wall and I had a 1k bounced into the wall  sway with the bulb at the same pace and my motivated edge light on his face feels like it's swaying with the bulb. I was pretty excited about that!

Subaru Commercial

Today my Subaru Legacy commercial finally released. It was a quick one day shoot that also had print photography at the same time! Even though it was chaos it turned out pretty nice! Shot on the Epic with Zeiss Standard speeds.

FMS Feature

This week I finished the first week of 6 of a feature I'm shooting about Alien Abduction. I'm really excited about the creative. We are shooting in LA and New Mexico.

Dell Commercial

This week I'm shooting a two day commercial Brooklyn for Dell. We are shooting Alexa with Master primes. Here's a shot of this working farm on top of a roof over looking Manhattan. And we also built this pretty sweet overhead rig!

Sketchers Commercial

This week I'm shooting a 3 commercial campaign for Sketchers shoes. I got to rent a griptrix electric car with Steadicam cam for running shots. This is the way to go to get fast paced Steadicam shots, especially of you can't afford a pursuit arm. 

Japanese commercial in New York

Spent the last 5 days shooting a Japanese bank commercial in New York. It was a blast working with the Japense agency and director. The director didn't speak any English so we had the producer translate. 

Vegas shoot

This week I'm shooting a commercial for interactive brokers with director Jesse Burton and producer Brian Joe. We are shooting on the Red Dragon with Kowa anamorphics. Here's a shot of me hanging off a cliff that I just rock climed up and now about to repel down to get the shot. Being afraid if heights is definitely out of the question. 

El Salvador Surf Trip

Spent last week on a Super Selfish Surf Surfari to El Salvador with some long time friends. I spent 6 days surfing 4-6hours a days. I stayed at a surf resort called "Las Flores Resort" It was soo much fun!

Canon commercial in New York

This week I'm shooting a Canon commercial campaign in New York with director Dustin Cohen. I have to use all canon gear to shoot the commercial so I'm going with the Canon C500. Here's a shot of one of our locations.

Awesome new product spot

Just spent two days shooting a commercial for a pretty amazing new company with director Caleb Slain. This was a great shoot with some challenging camera moves. Can't wait for it to come out! 

Purity Vodka Product shot

A few weeks ago I got to shoot a product shot for Purity Vodka. It's always fun shooting 100fps with sparks!

LOUIS VUITTON SHOOT!

Yesterday I got the best birthday present ever. I got to shoot a commercial for Louis Vuitton with director Pierre Debusschere and production company Art + Commerce. Pierre just directed two music videos for Beyonce and he is an awesome fashion photographer and filmmaker. This was one of the jobs I've gotten through Partos Co. I'm definitely glad I signed with them. Here's a random still from one of our locations. Can't show anything about the project but I'm really looking forward to this piece!

Ohio Lottery Spot

Shooting in Cleveland Ohio this week with director Matt Fackrell for the Ohio Lottery. It's definitley nice to be on dolly allday with a 4:1 zoom

Just spent the last 4 days shooting a pretty great campaign for an Indian clothing company in Washington on Mt. Rainier.

VA PSA

Just shot a PSA for VA last week with directors Matt Fackrell and Nate Fackrell. Shot on location in Burbank. Shot this on the Dragon with super speeds.

Intel Job

Just shot a commercial for Intel last week with director Jesse Burton. We shot for one day on a sound stage. First job with the Red Dragon and the super speeds. I'm pretty happy with the combo!
