Ronin Gimbal

I just bought the DJI Ronin gimbal for my Red Epic. I'm so happy with the quality and the level of smooth stabilized tracking shots I'm able to get. Here's a shot of her with my Epic.

Commercial in Indiana

Shooting a 2 day commercial in Indiana. It's been a shoot about gimbals. I'm using a drone with a Movi attached, flying my Epic on super speeds. Also using a second Epic on my Ronin gimbal I just purchased. I have to say comparing the two, I really enjoy the Ronin. The Movi had more sensitivity issues. Here's a shot of my Epic before flight! 

KOWA ANAMORPHICS!!!

I recently just purchased a beautiful set of Kowa Anamorphics. I have a 40mm,50mm, and 75mm. I have recently shot 2 projects with them and I absolutely love them.

Music Video

Last weekend I shot a beautiful music video for the artist Niykee Heaton and director Asher Moss. We shot with Kowa Anamorphics up in Lancaster, CA.  Here's a shot of one of our locations. :)

Clothing Commercial

Last week I shot a 2 day extreme lifestyle clothing commercial for an Indian based clothing company. We shot motorcross motorcycles all over downtown LA doing stuff. I rode in this crazy speed rail bucket of death. It was quite a rush flying down the LA river and all over LA not being strapped in, holding on for dear life. We shot this spot on the Dragon with Kowa Anamorphics and also used a Ronin Gimbal.

Arri Amira

This week I'm shooting a 3 commercial campaign with the Arri Amira. I have to say this camera is great! Same Alexa sensor.

Verizon

Shooting across the country for the next two weeks with director Tyler Manson.  I got the privilege to be a part of this same project last year and now doing round 2! Can't wait for the finished product. Our first location, Kenosha, WI. Here's a shot of Kenosha.

Car Commercial

Yesterday I got to shoot a car spot up in Tejon ranch on this sweet rig with awesome director Erik Anderson.  This is the only way to get running car footage. We shot 4 cars in 12 hours. 

E! Entertainment Shoot

Last week I got to shoot a short promo with Giuliana Rancic with director Matt Fife at E! Entertainment.

POV camera commercial

Today I got to shoot a pretty fun commercial. All POV body mount with the Codex action cam. Also pretty excited to be working for Logan and Sons production company. Here's a shot of the rig. Here the Key grip and 1AC are leveling out the camera.

My new Camera!!!

I put myself on a waiting list today for this camera. This is Arri's new camera the " Alexa Mini" I'm so excited about this camera.

Subway Commercial

This week I shot with director Tyler Manson from Acne productions a Subway commercial. We had a couple of Alexas, Cooke S4s, and stedicam. It was a good time!

Shooting a commercial on stage in Texas for a Japanese company. I got to rent a lot of fun toys. Made a 12x12 double diffusion break soft box with 3- frames, 4-Maxibrutes, and 1-LCD Grid. Here's a shot of the rig!

Shooting a big 3 week commercial for a Kuwait's biggest phone company. We start in New York, then San Francisco, and then London. Here are some shots in New York.  We spent the day yesterday shooting in a snow storm. We got some great footage but it was tough working in those conditions.

Shot a quick commercial yesterday in LA with director Armen Perian all on greenscreen for Esquire! Here's what happened after the shoot!

Car commercial Detroit

Just wrapped a car commercial shoot in Detroit in an amazing location. It was a blast. It involved a lot of precision driving and tires burning out!  You might recognize this location from Transformers. This is a shot of the product. I had a 30x20' overhead muz, 10x20' muz side strip, a wet down, a bunch of smoke, and a 30' techno crane.

Commercial in Big Sur

Just spent the last 3 days shooting a commercial in Big Sur. We shot all day under a Redwood forest using Steadicam and an outdoor gas powered fogger called an Igeba. Here are some photos!
