Here's a link to a short film I shot a few months ago. We shot all of this in one long day. It was really run and gun but I'm pretty proud of what we pulled off with such limited resources. Would of loved to spend just a little more time lighting on this one. One really fun toy we got on this film was a remote controlled helicopter so all the overhead shots are real!

NISSAN SHOOT IN NEW ORLEANS

I'm shooting in New Orleans this week with director Ryan R. Browne for Nissan and Chiat Day. Today I happened to walk by the house that was used in "Benjamin Button" What an incredible place! New Orleans is definitely one of my favorite places I've visited.

LENS PRESENTATION AT CHIAT DAY

Last week I gave a power point presentation to a group of creatives and producers at Chiat Day agency on lenses. It was a great experience and I feel it went really well!

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs National PSA

Here's a link to a National PSA spot I shot a couple of months ago with director Noah Mucci. I got to experiment with projectors, my vintage lenses, and some fun lighting cues. We shot this on the Mole richardson sound stage. It was my first time using the Mole beam lights. I used the 10K and the 2K mole beam projector lights. They are my #1 choice for creating sun on a stage now! Heres the link.

PURINA DOG COMMERCIAL

Just shot a commercial with director Nate Fackrell for Purina. It's going to be really good. Used my vintage lenses and had a golden retriever walking in a golden field at golden hour!

NOVEL SHORT FILM TEASER

Last month I shot a short film in one day, a very long day, but a very successful day with director Samuel Gonzales Jr. It was so much fun. We shot in a old mansion in Pasadena, we had steadicam, my Red Epic, and a helicopter cam. Here is a link to the teaser!

Manic Panic Spec Commercial

Working this week on a spec commercial with awesome director/ CG wizard Tim Hendrix. Its going to be a pretty fun spot. Here are a couple of shots. Shot with some old Kowa Anamorphics on the Epic.

New short film for Black Box TV.

Just shot an awesome short horror film yesterday for Black Box TV with director Paul Solet. It was a period piece set in the 30's. We had awesome sets, great wardrobe, and amazing acting! Most of the shots were lit with my homemade ring light as a key and I'm very happy with the results. It's a very pretty light!!!

Here are some screen grabs off my Red Epic from the Mercedes E63 commercial. It was awesome and I hope I can continue making sweet car spots. They are so much fun! The first shot the stunt driver spun donuts around the camera at sunset. Doesn't get any better than that!!!
