Director Stephen Reedy has a artist profile in this months Juxtapoz magazine and it mentiones my name! This is definitely one of those times I can say my mom is proud! I've been working with Stephen for the past 4 years on various commercials, music videos and short films. Our recent collaboration was a short film called "The Forge".

Rusnak car commercial

Just spent the day shooting a car commercial for Rusnak dealership. We rented a Russian arm and got some amazing running footage of a Prosche, Range Rover, and BMW near Mt. Wilson. 

Chrysler Commercial in Detroit

Shooting a 3day commercial in Detroit this week for Chrysler. I'm shooting the whole process of a new 2015 car being made through a POV. It's been pretty awesome! We've made some pretty cool rigs for the camera and also rented a hydro flex for some water shots!

CocaCola Commercial

Shooting a CocaCola commercial this week in South Africa with awesome director John X. Carey! Here are some of the locations and people we are shooting! Shooting Alexa and my new set of Zeiss Standard primes!

Greenpeace PSA

Last week I shot a PSA with director Olivier Agostini about the 30 Greenpeace Artic activists that were thrown in prison for their protest against Russian Gas drilling. Here's a couple of screen grabs!

Macro photography spot

Yesterday I spent the day shooting some macro inserts for a new spot directed by Stephen Reedy. Shot with my new set of Zeiss Standard speeds and also my new fancy Optex 100mm Macro lens. The majority of these shot I uploaded are from the 100mm Macro.  I used an old piece of CTO as the backdrop and one source 4. We got some pretty shots! Can't wait for the finished product!

NIKE SPOT

Last week I shot a commercial for Nike in downtown LA. We followed a running team running 5miles all throughout downtown LA and featured a new shoe. Here's a screen grab! Shot with the Sony F55 and Ultra primes. I had to crank the ISO to 3200 to work with the ambient light. I was pretty happy with how the F55 handles low light.

Shooting with Michael Giacchino!

Today I got to shoot a part of a short film directed by Michael Giacchino, legendary composer of Up, Lost, Star Trek etc. Also Patton Oswalt stars in it! It was such a blast! At the end the producer convinced him to play the song from Star Trek on the piano. That was pretty amazing!!!

Just Dance Yo Gabba Gabba

Here's a link to this commercial I shot for the Yo Gabba Gabba people. It was super super low budget but still was a lot of fun. Directed by Scott Schultz!

SciFi Short film

Just spent the day shooting a teaser for a feature film with visual director Joe Miale. I'm really excited about this one. Nothing beats shooting a dilapidated set with smoke and hard shafts of light pouring in!

Awesome trip to Kauai

Went to Kauai this week and got some great shots! Wish I lived in such a beautiful place. Took an hour helicopter tour at sunset!

Shooting a campaign of 8 union commercials for Hershey's chocolate for the next month in Canada with director John X. Carey! Going to be shooting in Vancouver, Toronto, & Montreal!!! Here's a shot of one of our locations in Vancouver! Shooting on the Alexa!

Just Dance Kids Commercial

Shooting a 3 commercial campaign for the Ubisoft video game Just Dance Kids with directors Scott Schultz, Matt & Nate Fackrell. Also with the Yo Gabba Gabba characters. My 3 year old daughter couldn't be happier!!!

Flux Pavillion video

Just shot the Flux Pavillion video last week with director Tim Hendrix at

Vasquez rocks. It was a beautiful location! Shot it on the C300 with steadicam and a helicopter cam.

Bad Robot round 2!

Just shot another teaser for Bad Robot a couple of days ago. This one is going to be awesome! I used flash bulbs for the first time. They were pretty amazing!

Amazing rare anamorphic lens

Just bought an amazing rare anamorphic lens on Ebay. It took months to finally track one down. Can't wait to try it out!!!

New bounce material

Just picked a 8x8 Dayblue muz for bouncing outdoors. I learned about this from DP  Caleb Deschanel and David Mullen.  I pretty excited to try it out.

Woodland Heights Short film

This is a short film I shot with director Samuel Gonzalez Jr. We shot this in a day and half. Really gritty B&W with just a few small hard fresnel lights. It's a pretty fun short!!!
